DJ is a second-generation operator from Macomb County. He spent 30 years in his family's service business and ran it for the last 5, where he implemented the FRAP system and grew the net profit 610%. That growth gave his parents enough runway to retire and close the chapter on a 46-year family business.

Today, he runs Uncommon Ventures (UncommonVentures.net) full-time as a consulting firm for business owners who want to build profitable, predictable companies they're proud of. He's worked with owners and operators across the trades, professional services, retail, and beyond. He's spoken at events from local chambers to international stages and has trained and been mentored under many of the largest names you'd recognize in business.

He facilitates the Macomb County FRAP Chapter because he believes the right room of peers does what no consultant can. In the room, his job isn't to consult. It's to run the meeting, keep the conversations honest, and make sure every member walks out with a move that pays for itself.

DJ lives in Macomb County with his wife Nichole and their two daughters, Ava and Carlie. He's an avid reader of business books, loves live music, and plays guitar in his spare time.
